Who is Jesus?

The answer is very simple. Jesus is GOD. Jesus is the physical manifestation of God. God says that Jesus is God, and Jesus says the He is God. The Bible makes this very clear, what is not clear to some is the fact that God can be ONE GOD and yet have *three aspects with which he deals with mankind. The reason this is a difficult concept for some is that satan has for centuries made every effort to infect mankind with false doctrine regarding the Deity of Jesus Christ! Satan is so afraid of the Deity of Christ he does all he can to confuse and muddy up the waters on the subject!

Religions have been founded on splits created by these traditions of men and doctrines of demons. One of the earmarks of a Cult is the fact that they without fail take that deity from Christ. They will substitute his true identify as God with teachings that he is "a" god, or that he is an angel, or that he is nothing but a good man, or a simple prophet. Some well known, and very  powerful cults state that Jesus is the Saviour but they dilute his Glory by adding that others also are co-saviors. The Mormons say Jesus + Joseph Smith and the Catholics say Jesus + the Church and the sacraments and the baptism and Mary!

* Lets look at how "aspects" work. I am one person, right? Yet I deal with people in many different "aspects". For example, When I relate to my parents I relate as a child, When I relate to my children, I relate as a parent, and when I relate to my brother, I relate as a sister. I am still ONE Person, but I use different aspects of my personality to deals with different areas of my life.  That does not make me three separate people, it makes me one person with three separate distinctly different "aspects" that are all none the less me.

Why did Jesus say the Father is greater than I? Because the aspect of father IS greater than the aspect of son. Jesus walked this earth 100% man and 100% God, but while he walked this earth he was NOT God the Father! He was God the son and role modeled for us exactly how we are to interact with God the Father. Jesus prayed to the Father. Jesus gave all the glory to the Father. Jesus is our example. We need to be like Jesus was when he walked this planet, totally dependent on GOD!

First, lets look at what God says in the Old Testament:

De:6:4: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servants whom I have chosen: that ye may KNOW and BELIEVE ME, and UNDERSTAND that I am he. BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE AFTER.

Isaiah 43:11 I, even I am the LORD and beside me there is NO SAVIOUR.

Messianic Prophecies (Jesus foretold)

Ge:3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Ge:22:8: And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Isa:9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa:9:7: Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Mal:4:2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Now on to the New Testament

This is what GOD tells us about Jesus:

Joh:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh:1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Re:19:11: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Re:19:12: His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Re:19:13: And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

1Jo:5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Here is what JESUS Tells us about Himself

Joh:10:30: I and my Father are one.

Joh:12:45: And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

Joh:14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Jesus is the Lamb slain for the sin of the whole world. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. Jesus is Saviour. Jesus is GOD
